Ax 2012 Services Not starting

Hi
I am Facing an issue.When I am trying to start services, the status of the service changes to Starting Error 1053 the I get Error "The Service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" in a dialog.
Please Help me out?

Its really critical.

Generally there is a time attached how long window waits for a service operation to finish. This is only a time-out warning. AOS service generally takes more time to start then 30 seconds.

Refresh the services console after 5-10 mins to check if the service is running. If not, check windows error log for any possible issues.

In addition to DG:

If you click OK on the message that is was not started in time, check if the status is 'Starting'. Then it is still starting and should change to Running after some minutes.

If it is not starting, then indeed search within the error log.

Its not critical... as it normally happens,

some time AOS service takes time to start...

while starting status of AOS service you can monitor Windows Event log if there is any issue..

many time I have seen this case and for me it gets started with out any issue.

Please verify and update us with your findings

As an additional note to the above, you will quite often find this occurring after installing new code or deleting your AOI files. As per Andre and Nitesh, this is normal.

Hi Halland,

Just an update and may be you have seen this in Dynamics AX 2012 there is no more AOI file..

but I agree what you have suggested for Dynamics AX 2009

Hi Deepak,

One more point to add, This behaviour I have seen normally if its first time after installation

and if AOS windows server gets restarted and windows takes time to restart its own services and other components

this may also cause if your server hardware configuration is not high enough.

I have seen this behaviour in VM

Please verify and update us with your findings

Thank you so much for your reply.

I have encountered where the problem was.It was in SQL as the drives on SAS were unmounted & databases were detached & went into recovery.I re-attached them again & services got started without any issue.

i would like to ask from you why my microsfot dynamcs object server service keeps starting and didnt start

i tried many time also i increase the time out but still no responce.

i had the same issue but still the services didnot start. once it start after restart of the server it stoped and now in starting state.

please help me.
