Number sequence based on fiscal year - Journal Names

Hi Guys,

In number sequence in scope I see an option : Company and fiscal calendar.

I created the number sequence - but it is not available in journal names to select . Even selected (Legal entity and fiscal calendar), but that does not help.

What is the purpose of this functionality.

I need PO and SO and Journal vouchers based on fiscal year, I thought this setup will help me.

The chronological number sequence does not support PO, SO and journal vouchers.

Not all documents support chronological numbering, you can check supported documents in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/accounts-receivable/chrono-numbers#configure-chronological-numbering

For other documents types, you must create a customization

Hey Nuno, as mentioned in question I am aware of limitation so chronological number sequence. Just wanted to know what is purpose of this standard functionality

Some countries have that legal requirement, to split number sequences by fiscal year.
