report : Historical average cost by article - extract

Hello community,

We would like to be able to extract in Excel the historical (by month)  of the FIFO cost ,  by article. 

This in order to see the trend of the article cost over a year, and also to see unrealistic fluctuations   (internal control)

    You might try the inventory valuation report run month by month. An even incorporate Report Layouts so that you send the data to Excel in a very useable way.

    You can do as Kim suggest or you can create a report based on the Item ledger entries.

    But you probably need to customize the report either in AL or in Power BI to get the data you need.

    Hi, I vote for inventory valuation. You can download it to Excel once a month and analyze it outside the system.

    If you want to customize or use external tools, you need to see both Item Ledger Entries and Value Entries. relatively complicated.
