Are you're mixing AX2012 R2 with AX2012 R3 components. This is not supported by Microsoft.

    Hi Tommy,

I haven't actually mixed any of the components so I'm not sure where this has come from?

How do I correct this?  Back up all the databases, reinstall AX and restore them?

Can you verify the version of the client is aligned with the version of the AOS service? You could also try to delete the AUC-files in your users local data hive (typically under %appdata%\..\Local). You could also try to delete any user data linked to the forms themselves. You'll find your users user data under Tools-Options. You could either remove them all, or find the ones the forms are dependent on.

In summary, these are in my experience potential causes of unstable client:

    - Klient kernel version is not aligned to the service
    - Invalid client cache in the AUC-files
    - Invalid user data cache

I'm assuming the forms doesn't cause crash for other users, which would indicate the forms themselves are working. :-)

Running client and server on a Windows Server 2012 box Tommy, both 6.2.158

    I've also upgraded from AX4.

Can't think of what else - I'll try your suggestions about the cache, but I'm guessing it would be common for other users.

Anything else that could be helpful?

Please go ahead and delete auc and kti files in your users local appdata folder. The AX client needs to be closed during the deletion of those files.

I've done that now and restarted client, tested it a few times and it appears ok - will monitor this for a while and let you know.  Thanks again.

    Hi Tommy Skaue,

Thanks for sharing it's also worked to me.

Clearing UAC File and KTI File inside User AppData Folder > Local, fixed my problem.

    Issue:

AX Client keeps not responding and keep restarting.

    Solution:

Delete all AUC File and KTI File, remember to close AX Client first before proceed to deletion.
