Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has gotten subreports working within an SSRS report for Dynamics AX? Within Visual Studio 2008 I have created a new Dynamics AX Reporting Project and wanted to create a master report which I would then use subreports on.

Within my project I have

Report1, Report2 and Report3, these are all PrecisionDesign reports.

In Report1 I have added a subreport control from the Toolbox, but the dropdown for ReportName is blank rather than listing Report2 and Report3. Trying to type these in does not work, it tells me that the report definition for the report has not been specified.

Am I missing a step? Does the subreport control work for Dynamics AX Report Projects?

Any help would be appreciated,

Hi Kevin,

In the ReportName property, you need to enter a fully qualified report name, i.e. ReportsLibrary2.Report2.AutoDesign1. Once both reports are deployed on Report Server, the subreport should show up in the rendering.
