I am trying to import USA Zip codes to AX (current version) from Organization Administration>Addresses>Import ZIP/postal Codes. The file to be imported is in a space delimited format as was expected in AX2012. But I get an error "The menu item with name addresszipcodeimport could not be opened.". Also there is message that says "Call of class incorrect".
Here are the parameters that I used:
County/Region = USA
Processing Group = blank
The file has .txt extension. Tried with header and without header. I am assuming it is not an issue with the file.
Can you please point me as to what could be the issue?

I have attempted to use a file that was formatted for the 2012 postal code import for US (and is successfully imported into an 2012 R3 environment), but get the same error with a D365O PU6 environment and a message saying "Call of class incorrect".
Any new updates/answers for this?
Hi Andre,
I did not use it in AX 2012 yet. As a work around I had already used PostalCodes data entity to import the Zip codes. For this, I had to export the data from another demo environment which already had the US zip codes as part of the demo data.
Thanks!
Hi Halim,
Did you also use US Zipcode import functionality in AX2012 or another import method?
Is it possible to download the official file somewhere so I can verify it in my version?
I had the same error with the Dutch import which was solved in Update 1.
Nevertheless you can also use the Postal codes entity in an import job using the Data Management workspace.
Andre,
I have tested it in Update 1 environment. So I am assuming the issue still exists.
Hi Halim,
This is a known issue in the RTW version of AX7. Did you do this test on the RTW or on the Update 1 Application (May 2016) version? Please test it on an Update 1 environment.
