Outreach(Lead) Log Notes not saving when clicking "Save and Close" First time

Hi Experts,

Outreach Log Notes not saving when clicking "Save and Close".

This issue is happening only the first time when someone enter Notes and don’t hit Done button or click outside notes window. On the subsequent updates it’s not happening. 

Below are the steps which I performed.

  1. I created an outreach and saved it so that Notes gets enable.
  2. Entered the notes title and description and then hit "save and close" - Notes not saved
  3. Opened the same activity and did same as I did in 2nd step and this time it worked.

Please suggest.

    I am not sure about the functionality, but it sound like - it is not working on create, check if you have trigger to log on create?

    Yes, it is happening for all users irrespective of roles and browsers.

    As per my understanding, this functionality is default functionality of CRM. Just now I disabled all the plugins and workflows which we used for particular entity(in my case it's phone call entity) and still the issue is there.

    Hi

    I would first check if there are any script errors on load of the page first time. Could you check in the dev tool to see if you get any error when it does not save first time

    As Kokulan suggested, check if there are any errors that occurred on the form using the browser Developer Tool (F12) and share it please if any

    I am getting no error. First time when I hit- Alt+S then the form gets closed withing 1-2 seconds and note doesn't save. But when I do the same process Second time then it takes some time (approx 4-5 seconds) and notes gets saved.

    Alt + S DOES NOT work for the Notes entity.

    You must click on Done button in the Notes section to be able to add a note to a parent record.
