Many of you have asked, is there a Benefit Self Service in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015? Well of course there is....and it is better than ever!
Why I'm excited about Benefit Self Service in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 is we really took a look at what customers wanted / needed to change in the prior product and made those enhancements. With the new Benefit Self Service product in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015, Benefit Open Enrollment was just made EASIER and I know we all like that.
Here are a few of the items I would like to call out that were near and dear to customers as they went through open enrollment:
I could go on and on, I think you get what I'm stepping in; this product is a force to be reckoned with and includes many enhancements based on customer feedback.
Take the time to check it out!

Hi Brenda, Benefit Self Service is for open enrollment of benefits only. You would use the regular employee self service to update W4's and direct deposit, here is my blog on it. Thanks
Can you use Benefit Self-Service to allow employees to update their W-4 or Direct Deposit info? or is it just for deductions and benefits?
Thank you for this post. I have couple of questions and I posted it on the forum as well. If you could please answer that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm testing the W4 workflow. I have setup a User of Self service Type and granted access to Defaultuser and ESS Roles. Also had setup the Workflow for W4 and it's active. But when I open up the W4 form to update from ESS User login, the Info bar appears empty by default with an Extra Left/Right Navigation buttons on the right side(does nothing), and when I switch to W4 Tab, Info Bar is getting updated with [Not Submitted], but all the options within the form are grayed out. Not sure what I'm missing. Since it was an upgrade from 2010 R2 to 2015 R2, I ran the below script to add the Roles.
#2: How do you approve the Direct Deposit workflow submitted. I don't see an option in Navigation Pane for Managers to approve.
Thanks for any help in advance
