The new version of Microsoft Dynamics GP will be released during the week of October 7, 2019, and make the branding of Dynamics GP consistent with that of other Dynamics products, such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement. This means that version numbers will no longer be used: instead, Dynamics GP will benefit from continuous updates throughout the year, with new feature releases planned every October.
This means that Dynamics GP will join the Modern Lifecycle Policy, which covers products and services that are supported continuously, such as Dynamics 365. Microsoft is also running a blog series called Dynamics GP October 2019 Feature of the Day showcasing some of these new features, and every week JOVACO will be posting a round-up of the features of the day. Read our first feature roundup here, and keep an eye on JOVACO’s blog for more information on individual features in the coming weeks!
