We have NAV2015 on-prem. we have 6 different companies within that. FYI we also have sharepoint and CRM and all there db's are sitting on one server.
The issue that we have right now is we are experiencing slowness when we go into Departments and click on JOBS, the loading process is extremely slow. I know there are lot of calculation happens in the back end before it loads all the jobs. Surprisingly out of 7 companies 2 of them are loading faster with less than 50 jobs posted and 5 of them which have 300+,50,36,27,18 jobs respectively are loading extremely slow. Posting invoices inthese from the Jobs from these 5 companies are also very painful.
I checked on SQL side, the whole NAV DB is just 4 GB right now, Indexes are pretty good too...so just wondering what can be the issue.
Please help, if anyone has any information troubleshoot.
Dear MangoJuice ,
Only way to minimize this you must have to increase your server hardware capacity
Increase your server RAM (Capacity allocated to NAV server )
Increase No of processes/ No of Cores per processor
this will sort out your issue ,
also note you are implemented every thing on one server/DB , also im not recommend, this may the case of it ,
if you cannot implement anything again(create separate servers) best way is increase your server hardware capacity .
Also can you share about your server hardware spec
