I have the following warning message
I see that for 2009 there is a hotfix, but I can't find anything for 2017.
Getting this problem in 2013R2 and 2017 as well and was just like OP only able to find the HotFix for 2009. Need help :(
I think you need to monitor the NAV process on the client pc where this error happens. Do you have low memory or processes that consumes resources like antivirus or similar?
We have the same problem running on NAV 2017 version 10.0.22286.0. We have checked the server power and we use less then 40%. We have checked the client machine it uses less then 20%. We have disables AV from checking NAV service. We have raised the allowed memory for NAV by a lot (within their guidelines)
Most of the users we have that experience the problems are working with Document Capture and “bigger” files then other users. Over a day they run out of resources 3-5 times. Close NAV start again and continue.
We have had our hosting partners involved and several NAV partners to look at this and no one knows where to look now.
I found that if it is only one user experiencing the resource issue that the user had multiple sessions open at the same time for over a week. Not sure if this will help but sometimes the simple answer is the best answer.
They only have one session open at a time this is limited by the number of licens we have and they are logged of every day automatically at midnight
At a customer of us we exactly experience the same problem on NAV 2017 10.0.26981 and found no solution so far. They don't have AV running on their Citrix client packages as far as I know. They have a couple of heavy file interfaces and sometimes they have multiple sessions open. However, I suspect the use of several temp table used in C/AL which consume more memory during the day but that's just a wild guess. Temp table are held in the client memory.
