Hi All,I want to create list of inactive item code from Jan 2017 to Dec 2017 as a report to top managementwhat is the best way to accomplish this task?I tried LS Retail - Back office -> Reports -> Item -> Obsolete items In Store but it return me 0 pagesworst case is i have to go through one by one which is impossible because we have more than 100k SKUAny replied is much appreciatedThank you
You can create a report or open the page and filter for those inactive and export to excel.
Starting from Excel you can connect to your database server from the Data Tab, choose the Item table, and it will bring all the items into your spreadsheet. Then you can use Excel features to filter from there.
can you explain more detail, which report should i select from Navision 5.0
That are too many column on Item table, which column should i look to start filter out inactive item
The inactive Items should have a 1 or a check mark or a yes in the column called 'Blocked'.
For the other option:
Go to the Item List page in NAV. From there, add the columns you would like to include in your report by right clicking on the column header and, from the little pop-up menu that comes up, select 'Choose Columns'. Add the 'Blocked' column and any other columns you would like to have. Then export this page to Excel and you will have an instant custom report.
