Can I remove transaction # from the RMS generated receipt ?

I don't want transaction # to be printed on receipt when customer buys from POS terminal. Does any one know how to remove the transaction # from the receipt? There was barcode at the bottom based on that I can pull the receipt from the RMS terminal, why do I need to have the transaction # on the receipt ?

Edit the template using XLM and save under a new name and then set RMS to use the new receipt template. Just remember to make a backup of the receipt template so you can test before making any permanent changes. Keep in mind that a damaged receipt barcode may make it more difficult to look up. Assistance can be found through your Microsoft Dynamics RMS Partner as well if you need it.

You can find under store operations -> database -> registers -> receipt formats | select your template from there.
