Interview for a Research Project
Dear Sir or Madam,
Given your expertise, you are invited for a 2-hours interview as part of a major research project entitled:
“Evolving Role of Business, Technology, and Accounting Executives and Professionals in Artificial Intelligence and Analytics (AIA) Projects”, led by:
- Raymond Falschau, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Accounting at Université de Sherbrooke (U de S), and Principal Investigator for this project.
- Stéphane Gagnon, Ph.D., Associate Professor in Business Technology Management (BTM) at Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO), and Co-Principal Investigator for this project.
- Shankar Iyer, D candidate/ Doctoral student, Department of Information Technology and Engineering at Université du Québec en Outaouais (UQO)
We seek to interview 50 executives and senior professionals in organizations of various sizes and sectors to analyze their evolving roles as they take part in new digital transformation projects, specifically AIA projects.
A set of 10 broad questions will address such issues as how to best integrate technology and business concerns throughout the project, how to select and implement the most appropriate AIA technologies, and how performance benefits are realized after project completion.
Please find attached our questionnaire, along with a consent form we must sign prior to the interview. This project was approved by UQO Research Ethics Community and data collection, analysis, and results publication will be fully compliant with university ethics policies. Among others, all information will be kept confidential, and no case study summary will include any person or organization names, nor project or sectoral information, only generic references.
This study will provide an opportunity to raise awareness of your best practices that help improve the effectiveness of AIA project governance. This new technology presents challenges that have been rarely encountered by both business and IT experts. It is essential that comparative case studies be published to find the management methods work best, and how to guide the next generation on how to best prepare for digital leadership and AIA projects.
Thank you for your time and looking forward to discussing your experience as a executive and senior professional.
Best Regards,
