Registering additional guests for real time marketing events

Hi, 
 
My clients needs the possibility for registering additional guests for a real time marketing event. 
Eg. a person is signing up for an event through a real time marketing form. This person would like to regsiter his/her partner. This partner should not be created as a lead/contact in the system because it is not relevant. Though we need to create an event registration that is linked to the person who filled out the forms but with the info of the guest, so we are able to see how many people will be attending the event in total. 
 
Does anyone have a solution for this or a work around?

    Hi,

    Currently it is possible to block the creation of leads, but not the creation of contacts. The reasons are as follows:
    1. The registration involves the form matching rules, the system checks to see if any existing contacts have the submitted e-mail address. If a match is found, the submission is used to update the contact; if no match is found, a new contact is created using the values received.


    we try to delete the contact matching rule, but after the deletion of the system will also be forced to create a new contact record.


    So we can't stop the creation of a new contact, but we can delete it, and before we do that, we need to delete the event registration record, and then delete it in the contacts form.



    2. Leads can be prevented from being created, whether or not to create a lead is something that can be checked yes/no when creating an event.
