today we have experienced something odd. When we create a new counting journal from the POS and commit it, the description states the date of the day before.
POS Counting journal created on 24/03/2021
Date in POS: 24/03/2021
Date in D365 Commerce HQ: 24/03/2021
Description of Counting journal: Manual stock count at WAREHOUSE on 03/23/202
Date on inventory counting journal line level: 24/03/2021
Any idea where that wrong date on the description comes from / how to adjust the description accordingly?
afer some investigation we found out that the difference in date was caused by the store time zone. The store operates in a different time zone than I am looking at the journal. This caused the difference in dates.
Thank you for posting what you found as the cause in order to help others who may encounter this issue.
