Working with a client and wanted to use the Fabrikam theme as a base to edit and make changes to the site. Under the design tab though, we don't have any of the features available to make design changes. Any insight?
Please check the guild to create no-code site styling to control the look of your e-commerce website at the site level using style presets:
To customize modules and themes, you use the Dynamics 365 Commerce online software development kit (SDK) in a development environment. And you must install a set of tools and the online SDK:
With a new deployment of an e-commerce site it will have you select the theme kit to use and then this design tab will work as expected. However, in the case with the built in sites, the theme kit is not selected and a special query string parameter is needed to set this once.
To fix this, from within the site builder tool, select "Site Settings" -> "General" and then append: &set=showThemePack to the end of the URL and hit enter. You should see a "theme pack" selection added to the UI, from here you can pick the "Fabrikam" theme from the drop down as shown below.
Hope that helps,
That was what I needed, thank you!
Great, thanks for confirming that worked for you!
