Will it be possible to make a box into, lets say opportunities, when we check that and pull out a word templates, it will add some text.
Lets say our offer is 100 pc's, and we would like the add our setup policies, we then check the box and pull out a template, and it's autofilled.I know how to add it through XML in word and import the template, it's more regarding adding the box and text via Sales Professional.
Hi, Not sure what you mean by "pull out a word template", are you trying to send a document to the customer regarding their purchase?
Does this meet your requirement? https://crmbook.powerobjects.com/basics/microsoft-dynamics-365-sales-process/working-with-microsoft-dynamics-crm-sales-literature/
Yes it is possible.
You need to follow following steps:
1. Add a two option set filed (format: check box) to opportunity form. Field name: Add Policies
2. Add a multi line text box filed to opportunity form.
3. Create an out of the box workflow. Trigger condition: Change "Add Policies". If Yes, add the set up policies to the multi line text boxes. If no, let the multiline text box be empty.
4. Add the multi line text box to the word template.
If you check the "Add Policies" before generating the word document, the document will contain the set up policies.
