Good day all
We have a requirement where our client need to be notified via email when an address has been added to a customer.
I've opened the advanced screen on the addresses section on the customer screen and added an alert but I receive no notifications or emails when an address is added to a customer. I've tested the functionality for customer creation and I do get a notification and email when a customer is created.

Try using OOB Workflow.
Type : Workflow
Triggering : When a new Record is Address (Record is Created)
Step: Send an email
