I have added a couple of fields to my order line form, field A and field B and have made both fields searchable.
I have selected both fields in the 'Find Columns' setting within the Quick Find View.
and I have enabled the Order Line entity in the search option within Settings > Administration > System Settings > General > Search Settings.
I created a test order with a new order line and have add data into both field A and field B however, when I then go to search for whatever I entered into either of the fields then no results come up.
Field A - Serial/IMEI Number
Field B - SIM Number
ORDER LINE TEST
Am I missing some setting? Previously I didn't have to do anything else and it worked.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Check that Order Line entity is added to the list of entities enabled for "Dataverse Search" - docs.microsoft.com/.../configure-relevance-search-organization
Thanks for your suggestion. That might be the problem however, I now came across another problem.
When I go to 'Manage search index' from the 'Overview' tab, 'Order Line' doesn't appear as one of the options.
However, when I go to the Objects tab then I can see 'Order Line' under the tables.
Any idea how I can enable Order Line?
I believe it's one of the limitations of such "child" entities like "Opportunity Products"/"Quote Products"/"Order Products". I'm afraid Microsoft is your last resort. In order to get a definite answer and/or explanation, you will have to open the ticket with Microsoft.
