I'm trying to design a report that takes all of the items ordered (from our
customers) in a given day for production scheduling purposes.
The report is intended to be run around the close of business, to
aggregate all of the day's orders. A small caveat our warehouse may start
picking some of these orders the same day, and if a short exists, they will
pick register the picked quantity and not the order quantity.
I need to grab the value of the original order quantity to make sure
we have available stock. It seems that InventSum should hold this information
(or at least I think it does).
However the field definitions leave much to be desired, can anyone
point me in the right direction so that I can get the following
Total Customer orders (not production or purchase orders) for a date/item, or
Total Available inventory (not affected by reservation).
Thanks in advance for the help
you might be better off using the class inventOnHand rather than using the table InventSum...
Mohamed Is right
To check the Inventory status of your Ordered Item choose 'On Hand'
DAX will provide Inventory Tab almost all the Important Places, from where you can brows the Current Item stock lying in organization Whether you are creating Sales Order or Purchase Order.
