Is possible to use two or more AOS´s using the same Service Bus? For exemplo, I have a VM with AX 2012R3 and I need other VM to other project, and both are in the same network. How the application will balance inbound requests?
i think its possible because The AOS processes the service call and sends the Response message to the WCF routing service hosted in IIS.
The WCF routing service sends the service response back through the Service Bus.
The Service Bus sends the service response back to the client.
I forgot to mention that this setup is to Connector for mobile applications.
You can install the Connector for mobile applications on all servers if they have access to both Internet (azure servicebus) and the AOS machine.
The connector works as a listener. So it will pick up messages if it can find one. If there are multiple machines having the connector installed, you have a kind of failover. There is no guarantee on load balancing, but for sure if you install the connector on two machines, both can pick up messages.
As said it can be installed on any server. It is possible to have it on the AOS machines. If you want to restrict direct internet access on the AOS machines for security purposes, then you can consider using other servers.
For exemplo, I have one VM dedicated to project xy and I need other VM dedicated to other project yz, when I type the service name in app mobile the name is the same to both projects. It works?! I think that the connector serves ACS Service bus only to authenticate users and the connetor will send message to respective AOS, rigth?
Can you explain about the different projects? Is it in one AX environment (database) or multiple? If it is one, you don't care about the AOS processing a request.
If they are separate, you need to have separate service bus names as you then need to switch environments using the apps credentials and connection.
Are multiples environments, each one with your database and AOS in the same network (AD). So I think that I´ll need one more ADFS, because in ADFS is setup with a especific sb.accesscontrol (dynamicsax-r2-azure-sb.accesscontrol.windows.net/.../federationmetadata.xml)
At one customer we use one ADFS server with multiple federation setups per servicebus. So it is possible to use one. For high availability it would be recommended to have two or more ADFS servers.
Thanks Andre, I had forgotten that just add a Relying Party Trusts.
