I need to know if for Hour Journals we can somehow have a "Fixed Sales Price" coming from Category setup as eventually coming up as the "Total" on Project Invoice once we do the Project Incoice Proposal (If you know for either type 'Fixed-price' or 'Time and material')
In our scenario, the customer wants to default it on 'Sales price' on Hour journal line and does NOT want to hook it to Number of Hours entered.
Please share if this is a Customization?!
Seems like most possibly a Customization. Any feedback will be appreciated.
Standard AX does offer you the use of sales price models (technet.microsoft.com/.../aa569699.aspx) but they depend on the number of hours entered and are thus not "fixed". Have you tried invoicing those hours by using a fee category that is independent of the hours entered? Another alternative might be the use of simple fixed price projects that allow you specifying and posting revenues independent of the hours entered. Other than that I would say that you might Need a customization as you mentioned above.
Hope this helps,
