All around 2020 has just been a really hard year for all of us in many different ways and to top it off we have more change. We are a creature of habit and change is hard. Change is not fun. As we all get older we like change less. Today I just want to help you through some of this change to try and make it easier for you. Working at Microsoft, we are constantly reminded, change is good and we have to be open to change. We need to keep a growth mindset to improve ourselves and be a better engineer.
That is what we are trying to also do with some of our business processes, we are trying to make sites better for you, more secure and with this change, PartnerSource is going away. But it is OK, we got you covered!
Downloads of Microsoft GP Products, Service Packs, Documentation, blogs and more...
On the Microsoft Dynamics GP side of it, all our pages are really in CustomerSource too, which takes the same login. If you are worried about finding a service pack or download, I would direct you to the Dynamics GP Landing page for all your needs, it is a quick way to get to what you are looking for. I also link to our release blog by version, so if you have a customer upgrading, they can easily review new features for each release along with documentation.
Update about technical support for Dynamics partners and customers effective October 1
Microsoft is updating the technical support experience for Dynamics partners and customers. To log a new case with support we should use Service Hub Support for Business
The new destination for Dynamics on-premises information and resources
There is a new destination for the Dynamics on-premises content and resources you need on the Microsoft partner website. We want to let you know that the PartnerSource site will no longer be available as of October 1, 2020. We invite you to take a look at the new online experience and encourage you to add the new site to your favorites. You can share your feedback with us on the site. Visit the Microsoft partner website
On the new partner website page for Dynamics on-premises information and resources, you’ll see a link to the PartnerSource Business Center (PSBC), which will continue to be where you’ll sign in to accomplish your transactional activities such as placing an order, viewing your order status, ordering partner service plans, and making operational requests. You’ll also access pricing, licensing, and promotional content.
Starting October 1, 2020, PartnerSource links will re-direct to the Dynamics on-premises information and resources on Microsoft partner website
Partners and customers that use Lifecycle Services (LCS) to log support incidents will also notice some changes starting October 1, 2020.
If you log into LCS with a Work account you will notice an updated user interface with an improved self-help experience.
If you log into LCS with a Personal account such as @hotmail.com or @outlook.com you will be redirected to Service Hub Support for Business to continue the support incident entry experience.
If you would like to change the account linked to your PartnerSource Business Center (PSBC) account complete the steps here:

Technical support engineers are not able to assist with PSBC or CustomerSource account information due to security and privacy practices.
Please email IT MBS Support itmbssup@microsoft.com and they will be able to help you with the account issues.
If you are unable to find a download or something you need, email mbsexp@microsoft.com to help find the information you are looking for.
To access Registration Keys go to the Business Center businesscenter.mbs.microsoft.com.
We too can all change for the better, keep up the great work you do every day for our customers, we appreciate it!
Thanks
Terry Heley
