Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 Document Attachment Transaction Entry

Hi GP Friends and Family!

Here we go – Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 is off and running!!!

One area many of us were hoping for even more functionality was around Document Attach. We heard the calls and are pleased to announce that Doc Attach has been added to even more windows in GP2018!

If you’ve been using Doc Attach previously, this will be known to you, but for new users, we need to be sure to go into Document Attachment Setup by choosing Microsoft Dynamics GP, click Tools, click Setup, click Company and then choose Document Attachment and mark to ‘Allow Document Attachments’ marked

We’ve added the following windows to the those previously allowing Document Attachments:

Receivables Transaction Entry

The Document Attach icon has been added to the Receivables Transaction Entry window.

To open the Receivables Transaction Entry window, on the Transactions menu, point to Sales, and click on Transaction Entry.

Transaction Entry (General Ledger)

The Document Attach icon has been added to the Transaction Entry window.

To open the Transaction Entry window, on the Transactions menu, point to Financial, and click on General.

There we go – even more transaction entry type windows allowing Document Attachment!!
