Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 U.S. Year End Update Released

On your mark, get set, GO!  The U.S. Year end update has released for all versions, Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018, GP 2016 and GP 2015.  As a reminder, these updates are ALL inclusive of prior patches.  This is especially important for GP 2018 as it will include R2, so make sure you test your upgrade, customizations, 3rd party solutions and business process to verify everything is working as it should.

Below is a list of changes in this update by product version.  We do recommend customers to install this update based on the required year end changes and quality report fixes below.

Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 (version18.00.0672) (Includes GP 2018 R2)

You may notice once you upgrade to GP 2018 R2 the new Mass Navigation List items are not appearing.
You may experience slow performance when you click Inquiry | Transaction By Document for Payables or Receivables.
When you apply an update to Dynamics GP 2018, the Intelligent Cloud Insights tab will appear as default of your home page.

Payroll
You may receive an incorrect message when you key a transaction that is outside the pay cod start/end date.
A pay code may not be included in the payroll when the start date falls between the pay period dates.
Payroll Integration to Payables (PIP) does not post the federal tax on tips to the vendor record.
When you process payroll on GP 2018, the Mandatory arrears information is not populated in the APR_APR30300 table.
System
You may encounter an error with the ASIEXP86 table (SmartList Favorites Columns Master) when you upgrade to Dynamics GP 2018 R2.
Project Time and Expense (PTE) -
PTE Timesheets may be updated with incorrect billing status using various tab orders in Web Client.
You may notice where PTE Timesheets shows non-billable status if Project ID of None is changed to a valid project before a user tabs off the line.
An incorrect billing status may be used when a user uses the looking glass to select the cost category to add a new item to a multi-line timesheet.
You may notice PTE Timesheet entry window slow when making edits to previously saved lines or adding new lines to existing timesheet.
Delegate for Employees can see every Project Employee Expenses for all employees in Navigation window.
VAT
Purchasing tax amounts from GL entries are subtracting from boxes 2 and 7, instead of adding to boxes 4 and 7 on the VAT Summary.
Sales returns and credit memos are not deducting total taxable amount from box 6 on VAT return, and voids from box 1 and box 6.
Purchasing returns & credit memo's, voids are not deducting total taxable amount from box 7 on VAT return, and invoices not updating box 4.

VAT
