Announcing the Dynamics 365 Implementation Guide v1.3

The FastTrack for Dynamics 365 team is proud to announce the launch of version 1.3 of the guide. The new version is now available as an interactive flipbook and summarized on Microsoft Docs.

The Implementation guide encapsulates time-tested Success by Design principles which include topic-specific reviews and prescriptive guidance – approaches and recommended practices – that enable our partners and customers to architect, build, test, and deploy Dynamics 365 solutions. It contains checklists and case studies for practical applications throughout the implementation journey.

The guide continues to gain traction with our partners and customers leading to higher user engagement and audience growth: reads (60% growth MoM), average read time (32% growth MoM), downloads (98% growth MoM).

Version 1.3 of the guide delivers even greater value to our partners and customers, and addresses the mindset, questions, resources, and tools necessary for driving successful Dynamics 365 projects.

- Introducing crucial principles on how to effectively map project scope to test strategy and plan

Improved guidance on cross application integration scenarios and error handling/integration monitoring

Advice on Data Export Service deprecation and Azure Synapse link for Dataverse

Additional information on Azure components for integration

- Concise explanations around the issue with mimicking a legacy application functionality on the new cloud solution being deployed
