Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM

What does it take to get your organization set up with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Mobile App?

Prior to your users beginning to work in Mobile, your System Admin will need to verify that all of the Security Roles that need access to the Mobile App are set up properly.

How will they do this? By following these simple steps, Microsoft Dynamics 365 System Admins can ensure their users have access to the information they need via the Mobile App …

  1. Ensure the user’s Security Role is set to Organization Level for Dynamics 365 Mobile
  2. Navigate to “Settings” > “My Apps”
  3. Click on the three dots in the Dynamics 365 Mobile App
  4. Click on “Manage Roles”
  5. Checkmark all of the Roles that will need access to the Mobile App

That’s it!

Quick Gotcha Tip:

Keep in mind that if you create any Items from scratch or Security Roles from scratch, you will want to make sure you have those “Read” Items on the Customization Section the same.

Without those items, you will lose access to different items like Mobile and other important pieces.

Copy those Security Roles, for example, so the right pieces are always in place.
