Save filters as new view

We all know that it is possible to create personal views in your CRM system. This has been around for many many years.
But did you also know you don’t need advanced find to create a new person view!

I recently learned that you can do this starting from the main grid of an entity.

Let’s start on the account screen and add a custom filter to the Active Accounts view.
For some reason, I’m very interested in all accounts where the account name begins with an ‘A’

After applying the filter, I can see my results (obviously )

In the ribbon, I now have a the option Save as new view when clicking the arrow from the Create View button

This will open a new dialog where you can enter the name of your personal view.

The view is now available under your personal views!
