Microsoft Dynamics GP February Hotfix 2019 Including Electronic VAT Changes has released!!

Whew, you have made it through the year end rat race of January, Woo-hoo!!

The January, OK February Hotfix has some HOT new functionality our customers are looking for Electronic VAT!! EXCITING, I know.

Along with those changes, here are fixes / updates based on version.

If you are NEW on setting up VAT, review the blog of key areas for setup to make sure it calculates properly.

Specific instructions for Electronic VAT/Making Tax Digital

The February Hotfix is only released for Dynamics GP 2016 and Dynamics GP 2018, there were no regulatory changes to Dynamics GP 2015 for a release.

You may encounter an error with the ASIEXP86 table (SmartList Favorites Columns Master) when you upgrade to Dynamics GP 2018 R2.
You may notice once you install an update that your user Homepage is now blank.
After you install the year end update, the Homepage maximized tile is ignored when moving between areas of Dynamics GP.

VAT
Electronic VAT changes
You may notice the exception items from cashbook are not picked up by the VAT return summary report.

Financials
You may notice that the Invoice Receipt date defaults back to the document date on Payables invoices for UK install only.

Encumbrance
You may notice that your Encumbrance Summary window does not match the Encumbrance detail inquiry window when using workflow and requisitions.
When you run the Routine Maintenance Repair Detailed based on Requisition the Encumbrance tables may get populated incorrectly.

Canadian Payroll
Added EHT (Employer Health Tax) for BC (British Columbia) to the following reports: 
P_CPY_Calc_EHT_RPT0060 from the form P_TRX_Calc_MSTR_Reports
P_CPY_Calc_EHT_LY_RPT0060A from the form P_TRX_Calc_MSTR_Reports_LY
