How to Make any field as Mandatory (Required) without Customization in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Many times we receive request from customer that for their internal control purpose they want to make few fields mandatory in particular form e.g. Bank account is mandatory for creating vendor master. Now for doing so , earlier we had to connect with technical team and make it mandatory but now its not require. End user itself can make field mandatory base on requirement.

Note: This feature is available in Version 10.0.12 and enable this feature from feature managment.

Step-1: Navigate to the form and choose which field you would like to make mandatory (required) , i am taking example of Bank Account on Vendor master

Step-2: Right Click > Personalize Field > Select required Check box option

Step-3: Try to Save form without entering Bank Account

You will receive error message.
