Point of Sale does not support adding a Location or License plate when creating a Cash and Carry transaction. Because of this, the Location must default from the Warehouse.
For Commerce stores, if setting location, there should be a location for the sales floor and a location for the backroom. The location for the sales floor should not have license plate tracking set on the Location profile.
When creating a location profile that tracks License Plate, the Use License Plate tracking is set to Yes. There are valid reasons for setting the location this way.
When the Location is created for the store sales floor, this location should not have license plate tracking set.
In Point of Sale, you cannot select a Location or a License Plate. Because of this when posting Commerce statements, the Location must default from the Warehouse by using the Default location and Default return location.
Because of the product limitation that Commerce Statements cannot default the license plate, the Location would need to be created with a Location profile that does not track license plate. That non-License plate tracked Location would then be set as the Default location on the Warehouse, under the Retail fast tab.
