Tuesday Tip #12 - Get Recognized With Leaderboards and Community Points!

We're excited to announce the long-awaited return of the Leaderboard to the Dynamics 365 Community!

Leaderboards are a fantastic way for the community to recognize and celebrate the achievements of our most active members. They also help new members to learn about the most valued contributors on the site.

The Leaderboard we have today is a bit different than what you may have seen in the past. You can learn more about how it works by reading Understanding Leaderboards. The main difference, however, is that the new Leaderboard consolidates a breadth of different contribution types into a single view using Community Points. There are many ways to earn (and give!) points in the community. You can learn more by reading Understanding Community Points.

Extra credit:

  • The Leaderboard displays the Profile name you have created in the community. If you haven't updated your profile with a Profile name, your name will appear as "Community User" instead. Be sure to update your profile to get your reputation out there!
  • Community Points also are used to qualify members to become Super Users in the community. Find out more about these amazing community members (and how to become one!) by reading What is A Super User.

A huge round of applause to our current Leaderboard members! Be sure to check out the Leaderboard regularly and see who you find there.

As any new feature on the community, we'll be learning about how our members use it and making improvements as we go. If you have any feedback, we'd love to hear it!
