Cumulative Update 03 includes all application and platform hotfixes and regulatory features that have been released for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. If you have customers using Business Central on-premises, we recommend that you apply this cumulative update so that your customers are using the latest version of Business Central. If you have customers using Business Central online, check the Business Central Admin center to see if the tenants have been updated.
The cumulative update is intended mainly for solutions that are experiencing the problems described in the Knowledge Base article linked to below. However, you are advised to always keep your solution updated with the latest cumulative update. We recommend that you test your solution against the cumulative update using a sandbox environment. You can either choose to run a sandbox environment deployed as a Dynamics 365 Business Central service, or you can run a container-based image either hosted as an Azure VM or locally. Hi..... there seem to be a few issues with this update (2 of which are):
1. It would seem that the FilterPageBuilder data type no longer works (error Metadata object Page 9598 does not exist) - and example of this is the use of the "On Condition" field in Workflow setups; and
2. When adding DotNet control-addins (not using the ControlAddIn object), error is reported at client (Library no found), even though Control AddIn is registered and exists in the client Add-In folder.
How do we get these reported?
