Sales reps have two major responsibilities. On the one hand, they’re in charge of closing sales in order to increase revenue. At the same time, sales reps are expected to manage other aspects of the customer relationship, ensuring that customers are satisfied with their overall experience.
With Dynamics 365 Business Central, sales reps can accomplish both of these tasks. Thanks to Business Central’s seamless integration with other Dynamics 365 apps, sales reps can quickly and easily review current sales numbers, enter in sales quotes, and get an overview of any existing customer issues or concerns.
Learn more about Business Central's important features for sales representatives:
When you log into Business Central as a sales rep, you’re immediately presented with a role-tailored dashboard. This gives you access to all of the tools you need, including pipeline management, sales analysis, and more.
From the Business Central dashboard, you can view embedded reports from Power BI and drill down into sales numbers. This makes it easy to get an overview of an individual customer’s sales numbers without having to switch to another app.
When viewing a customer card in Business Central, all it takes is a single click to create a quote. You’ll be taken directly to the Dynamics 365 Sales Hub, where you can select the right price list and populate the quote with products. If you enter any write-in products, these will be automatically transferred over to Business Central simultaneously.
Before a sales rep reaches out to a customer about a new sale, it’s important for them to have an overview of any existing customer service issues related to that account. From the Dynamics 365 Sales Hub, a sales rep can quickly switch to the Customer Service Hub. This will display any current issues related to their assigned customers, ensuring that they have a detailed understanding of a particular account before they pick up the phone to make a sales call.
