I don't understand what happened, but since some times, we cannot reactive Case.
We always have the same error:
Unhandled Exception: System.ServiceModel.FaultException`1[[Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk.OrganizationServiceFault, Microsoft.Xrm.Sdk, Version=184.108.40.206, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35]]: This case has already been resolved. Are you online or on-premise? Have you tried the same action in Internet Explorer and get the same result?
Same error on chrome and IE 11.
Do you have any Scripts or Workflows running on the Case entity?
Please check below things:-
1) Check if you have any JScript on the form on load , on change etc . If yes disable them temporarily and test it.
2)I have seen this issue in the past even when the user doing this does not have privilege
make sure the security role give to user has prvWriteUserSettings (Business Management Tab > User Settings > Write)
Yup, that was it.
In fact I was doing this on the onLoad event of the form:
Because of an hidden field that wouldn't be saved otherwise.
Now I check if the case is resolved and return right away if it's true.
