We just had our 2015 upgrade to our CRM Online, and it has added an "ENTITLEMENT" section to all our Accounts forms. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove it (when I open the form, it's not displayed there at all).
Any ideas how to remove this or what to do with it?
Check the name of the form.
Are you looking at the 'Account' form or the 'Information' form.
You can toggle between the 2 at the top left hand side of your screen.
OOTB the new Account form has the entitlement section and this section can be removed by opening up the new Account form, clicking on the ellipses ( ... ), then Form, then removing the section as you normally would. Save and Publish your changes.
You can choose to continue to use your Information form or the new Account form.
Note: You need to consider merging your forms prior to the SP1 upgrade.
Thanks for your response - we do not use any OOTB forms and have two custom forms used for our Account entity, and 'ENTITLEMENT' has been added to both at random places. It is not displayed when editing either of these forms.
Your answer does give me some more things to try though, but I'll see if anyone knows about this issue specifically.
Found something else:
Maybe there is some Entitlement Quick View form on the Account view?
If so, you may need to edit a quick view form in Entitlement in order to remove entitlements from the Account form. Remove the entitlement subgrid from the quickview form and save and publish it. Or remove the quick view form entirely.
It hasn't been my experience of upgrades though...
Update 0.1 for 2015 resolved the following issue:
Let us know how you get on.
As said by MSCRMBA, there are two types of forms Account & Information Form.
Ur able to see this entilements only if u open Account Form.
So if u dn't want entilement to reflect then u have to Remove it in Account Form. Plz follow the below.
Navigate to Settings>cutomize the system>entities>Account Entity>Form>Account Form. Now remove the entilement & save Publish your changes.
Well, this is just a thought.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks & Regards,
Thanks guys, special thanks to mscrmba, all sorted now. Had to remove its section from 'contact card' under contacts.
