We use CRM 2011 and I am trying to create an advanced find to see if we have sold any product of a specific part number.
Is there an easy way to enter those part numbers in the advanced find.. Right now I am looking at 300 or so items. As you can see by my below diagram, I am putting it in line by line. I ddnt know if there was an easy way t create this, as the part numbers change quite often
If you have a distinct set of products for this query, but the products change regularly, you could add a new field to the Product record, something like "Include in Search Criteria" (something more specific to your need). In your advanced find, instead of filtering on the product numbers you would filter where the "Include in Search Criteria" field is Yes. Then, when you want to change the products that come back in the results you can do a bulk edit in CRM, or if you're changing a whole lot, export the products to Excel, edit that field, and reimport the list.
Hope this helps! I'd appreciate if you could mark this as a Verified answer.
