In admin portal on portal.office.com - I don't see any solution available for installation. What are we missing?
Earlier in the day, we got email from Microsoft that "Action Needed to Enable FantasySalesTeam for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online" but there is solution installation option available. What am I missing?
The solution is available. Just to make sure you are looking in the correct place: on the dashboard screen there is a sidebar at left. Click on the triangle beside 'Admin' to drop that menu down, then click on 'CRM'. If you do not have CRM attached to this Office 365 account then you will need to set that up first (clicking on 'CRM' will take you through those steps), then return to this screen and click on 'CRM' again. The next step is shown on the preview sign-up site www.fantasysalesteam.com/preview: click on the pencil icon next to 'Solutions' and you will see FantasySalesTeam listed there. If you need further assistance please let us know.
Having two issues:
1. I signed up yesterday at http://www.fantasysalesteam.com/preview around this time and still have not received an email with my code.
2. Like Kripa, I do not see this "Solutions" part of CRM administration. See following screenshot:
I have already followed all the mentioned steps but I don't see any option for solutions download.
The issue here is that you're looking at a Sandbox Instance of CRM. It's not advisable to install FST into Sandbox because you will end up with duplicate users when installed later into production. Looking into if it's even possible to install PVS solutions into Sandbox (as you're not seeing the menu of other solutions either) but I can confirm that's why you're not seeing the Solutions Menu here. Highlight a Production Instance to proceed.
I don't see this even in production instance. Also I am scared to install anything untested directly in production environment.
Please see below screenshot. Even with our production instance there is no "Solutions" either.
Just wondering - why would it matter if it was installed on Sandbox? The users are the users right, so even if it was Sandbox and later moved to Production it should be the same? Or do you create users in a new entity in the FantasySalesTeam? If so how would that cause duplicates when moving to production?
Hi. I have our team looking into this right now. It should definitely show up in your Production instance. So perhaps Sandbox was not the problem. We'll come back to you shortly.
Appreciate the responsiveness. As with most solutions in CRM typically you can download and just import the solution right into your environment. Is this a potential option for those who want to try this out?

At this time, the PVS can only be distributed through the portal.office.com site. It's for legal / T&C reasons. That said, don't worry - we're all over this. We'll make sure you can use FST shortly.
I just spoke with our CRM team. They tell me a hotfix was applied late last week to ensure that the Solutions Menu shows up for all instances. So this should now be resolved. Please post if you are still not able to see the Solutions Menu to install FST and other Preferred Vendor Solutions.
