We have CRM 2015 on premise version on which we have developed a custom SSRS report, this report usually takes 15 minutes of time to get the output however the report gets a timeout after 5 minutes of time. We are able to get the result successfully when report is executed from the SSRS report manager . We have tried increasing the timeout settings mentioned in the below areas.
1.We have created the registry key for ms crm oledbtimeout settings for a time of 1800 seconds i.e (30 min)
2. We have created the registry key for ms crm extended timeout settings for a time of 1,000,000
3. Changed Time out settings in Web.config file:
</configSections> <system.web> <httpRuntime executionTimeout="3600" maxRequestLength="32768" requestValidationMode="3.0" encoderType="Microsoft.Crm.CrmHttpEncoder, Microsoft.Crm" />Even after implementing the above settings the report gets timeout error after 5 minutes, any help on this appreciated.
What error message do you get ? The issue could either be within the CRM configuration, or the ReportServer configuration (web.config or rsreportserver.config in the Reporting Services\ReportServer folder), and the error message may help determine which it is
We have received a generic error when we run this report "An error occured. Try this action again if the problem continues check the MS CRM community ".
