My current system using Dynamic CRM integration using SOAP Api, in that they use create for creating record in Dynamic CRM end, Now i have to use same functionality via REST Api but i didn't find alternative for create method. so please guide me for the same.
e.g . My existing soap api
client = DynamicsCRM::Client.new(organization_name: "name of organization") client.authenticate("username", "password") client.create('name of table', "parameters")
You can start here - docs.microsoft.com/.../create-entity-web-api
What version of CRM are you on? Your tag specifies version 3, but I don't think that's correct.
i am not sure about the version, my host url is maropostindia.api.crm3.dynamics.com, thats why i thought my version is 3.0
You can find your version by clicking on the settings button on your navigation bar on the top.
It is to the left of the question mark button.
Click on the button and select About.
If you are on version 9, follow Andrew's link, and that should give you a good starting point.
If you are on version 8.x, follow the link below:
Hope this helps.
