Hi all. I am using CRM 2013. We recently got a new hire and I copied all the security roles from other users in the Sales team to this user. Everything is working fine, except that the user does not see the Notes field under their ID. Is there some place where this is set for the user so that they might have access to view, write and attach notes?

If you have mirrored every single security role, then this should not be a problem. Do you have multiple forms, then switch the form & verify.
Also make sure the security roles of teams they are part of & BU.
