recently I discovered this entity on a CRM 2013 On-Premise database.
the entity Table Name is [dbo].[attachment], what is this table? is it linked to annotationbase or activitymimeattachment ?
thanks in advance
Judging based on name, columns and a couple of quick queries, it is an out of the box table that stores meta information on file attachments for messages that isn't stored for a typical file record in the annotationbase record.
All other attachments except Email Attachments are stored in annotation entity (AnnotationBase DB table) and the file contents are uploaded into the documentbody string attribute in Base64 string encoded format.
