I am trying to send an email from a custom workflow. All my attributes are correct and on debugging, it fails at send email. It gives the error SQL Error Timeout. The error it gives in Event Viewer is "Dynamics 365 has been configured to use server-side synchronization to process email. If you want to use the Email Router to process email, go to System Settings and change the Process Email Using field to Dynamics 365 Email Router". I don't know where to go from here. Please look the screenshot below. Please help!

The email object being created is not really being created in this case. It retrieves a record from email entity. I want to create it from the code and use the GUID for other things.
Did you get emailId from service.create(email); or not ?
Or can u provide the screenshot of addattachmenttoemailrecord function

Hi,Can u please one more thing under Administration > Settings > System Settings, on the email Tab. The drop down for Process Email Using needs to be set to the email router . Please refer below image for setting.
