I have just started using the Dynamics 365 for Outlook\Powerapps platform. One issue I have with the outlook app is the Set Regarding search. I have to enter the search term exactly as it is. For instance, we have a custom entity to track bids. one record is "City of Thornton Cooley Plant Expansion". However, when I type "cooley" in the search box, all I get is a contact named "Robert Cooley". If I type "City of Thornton" the cooley project will pop up. This is very annoying, as my people don't always remember exactly how the bid name was entered.
I have already configured relevance search and added the appropriate entities and customized the quick find cards. I have also republished the app for outlook, and cleared the ie cache.
How can I get better search performance from the app? Once I turned on relevance search, the power app global search is working just fine.
Can you try to add a * before the word you search. Example as below
*City of Thornton
That works! Thanks! Is there any way to set this behavior as default?
