I would like to delete multiple products from my product gallery but there seem to be some dependencies/associations in the way.
I get the following error message:
Could I please get some information on how to translate the GUIDs so that I can find the records in question?
Given that I have multiple products which I want erased, what would be the best strategy to go about the problem?
I believe you were having some parental relationships or cascading relationship between the two entities. The below blog posts will help you to find it out...
Hope it helps....
Hi,Please refer below link to get more detail about error:https://d365demystified.com/2019/07/19/solving-the-record-could-not-be-deleted-because-of-an-association-error-in-d365-ce/
Now to get the record you use your CRM instance URL as described below:
Suppose you have once GUID as "0000000-0000-0000-0000-0000000000". Now you can open any Activity record in browser Tab and copy the URL.and replace the Id value with your GUID.
Also, to resolve all the products you have to manually to resolve/remove the dependency. The dependency details you find either in download log or in console section of Developer tools of browser.
