D365 F&O Unified development environment error

I am trying to setup my Development environment from visual studio for D365 Finance and Operations. When I click on any of the options like Connect to Dataverse or Download Dynamics 365 FinOps assets, I login and then come up with a error message

Please suggest

"Multiple Power Platform environments are available to you. Please
choose the environment you would like to connect to."

Try this when connecting to the DataVerse in the login screen:

Select Office 365.

Uncheck all checkboxes in the login screen.

When prompted to select a solution, just select the solution e.g. "Cr26b50". In your case it might have a slightly different name.

Hi,

In case you have multiple environments, you should enable the second option (Display list of organizations) and disable the other two.
After logging on with your Office 365 account, you will then get a list of environments to choose from.

It will start loading metadata. Then you get a popup to select a solution. The values can be different per environment. In case you are working on a solution covering both Power Platform and Dynamics 365, it is important to select the correct value. For only F&O, the option you choose it not important.

Thanks. I have tried all of the options you mentioned but it still ends up with the same error. Something is different that I should not have done. Earlier I use to get to the download stage on other laptop but this one I dont know what am I doing different. Any other suggestions would be great,

I have 3 environments in the list with only 1 Dev environment that has Dev tools selected/enabled and I use to get to the next step but not anymore. Not sure what is wrong and no way to trobleshoot
