I am working on upgrading one our customers databases from NAV 2009.
One of the blockers I have encountered is the from the form 104001 Upgrade - Old Version when I try to run it. It complains that the
The definition of the field Kit Item No. was changed after the object was saved. Old type: Code New type: Boolean 

I have no previous experience with navision but I have done some research and understand that the Kit item No. typically is associated with kits, a collection of inventory items packed together as a single unit.

I have tried to find what table this field is part of but I cannot.

    As our colleague indicates, you must verify the data type of that field in the old version and the new one.

    Kit Item No. looks like a custom field. From the name, it may be related to the Assembly Order module.
    You can import the NAV2009 Demo database and compare all the source codes.
