Is anyone else trying to submit their expenses and after tow attempts keep reverting back to "draft" ?
 
If not does anyone know if there's something changed about submitting expenses because I'm doing nothing different

    Yes, I regularly work with the Expense module. Could you please explain your concern in more detail?
    The submission follows the rules configured in the 'Expense report' workflow:
     
     
    Once submitted, you can recall it, to come back a the "draft" status:
     
    If the workflow doesn't run you need to set the workflow batch: https://axparadise.com/how-to-setup-workflow-in-d365-ax-finance-operations/
     
    Once "approved", you can set back the status as "daft" using the function "Reset expense document status":

    I've found out that there has been a recent change to the Expenses policy of which I was unaware -
     
    [internal policy details removed by moderator]
     
    The expenses claim was for a client lunch costing over £45 per head and the additional approval now required had not been requested or obtained. Hence the rejection. This approval has now been obtained and the expenses claim is being processed
