Help with BCC email id insertion with automated reminders

Hello

I have a very little AL language / VS code knowledge , I want to insert a BCC email account in all my reminders sent out to the customers, how do I go about making the customisation. The version of the BC I am using is 27.5

Appreciation some help.

To add a BCC email address for all automated reminders in BC v27.5, you’ll need a small AL customization:

Extend the Email Message creation:

Locate the codeunit or report that generates reminder emails (usually Reminder or SendEmail routines).

Before calling Email.Send, insert your BCC logic.

Use the Email Message API:
Al
procedure AddBCC(var EmailMessage: Codeunit "Email Message")
begin
EmailMessage.AddBCC('yourbcc@domain.com');
end;

Hook into Reminder Send:

In your extension, subscribe to the event OnBeforeSendEmail (or equivalent in reminders).

Call AddBCC(EmailMessage); so every reminder includes the BCC.

Deploy & Test:

Publish the extension from VS Code.

Send a test reminder and confirm the BCC address receives a copy.
This way, you don’t need to rewrite the reminder logic—just extend it with a subscriber that adds the BCC each time.
